Jack Norris is a British-Irish writer-director fusing working-class realism with high-tension storytelling. He creates genre-driven dramas about people fighting for agency inside systems built to overpower them.

Jack served as the director’s shadow on season five of Apple TV’s BAFTA- and Emmy-winning series Slow Horses. A Royal Television Society Award winner, his work has been broadcast on Sky Arts, streamed on NowTV, and screened at BAFTA- and IFTA-accredited festivals across the UK, Europe, and North America.

A member of BAFTA Connect and Directors UK, he is an alumnus of both the BFI Directors Lab and the D:UK Inspire programme. He is mentored by Emmy-winning writer-directors.

Beyond narrative fiction, Jack has directed national campaigns for the NHS and major charities, which have reached millions of viewers and been directly accredited with saving lives.

Jack’s collaborators routinely call him the nicest and calmest director they’ve ever worked with. He takes that as a huge compliment, because where would we be without people who actually care?

Jack is currently in funded development on film and television projects.
