I'm pleased to announce the release of my latest directing work - a short drama/commercial film in collaboration with the NHS. The film, based on real experiences of NHS staff and patients, explores the challenges faced within our healthcare system through a poem created by a NHS staff member and patient.
The film offers a unique and bold statement on the shortfalls of the NHS, while addressing that change is needed. The narrative focuses on the connection between a patient and a nurse amidst this strained healthcare environment. Through a compelling poetic narrative, it highlights the everyday struggles and interactions that define their experiences.
Me and my team worked closely with NHS staff and patients to ensure the film accurately represents their stories, capturing the essence of their daily lives with care and precision.
“Blue Beacon” aims to raise awareness about the current state of our healthcare system and offer a solution to the problems many face. We believe this short drama will contribute to important discussions and increase understanding of the challenges faced by NHS professionals and patients.
