I’m proud to present a new series of films tackling gambling harms. Commissioned by Gambling With Lives and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, these films challenge common perceptions around gambling and reveal its real effects on individuals and communities.
Gambling harms remain a largely hidden issue within the UK, often masked by sports culture and sophisticated marketing strategies. Drawing on extensive research and firsthand accounts from those affected, I’ve strived to craft narratives that deliver both factual insight and emotional resonance, whilst also seeking to shift the conversation and inspire change.
