Less than 10% of Film & TV workers are from working-class backgrounds, and most of them are based in London.
Following the Ignite panel, I’m very excited to be working with the National Youth Theatre in partnership with Netflix to mentor new-to-industry regional talent through their IGNITE Your Creativity programme, which will equip young people who want to work in film and TV with the knowledge, skills and connections to build networks and confidence.
